6.5 Month Photos

On Saturday we took Kaelan to have some studio portraits done.  I found a photographer in the Spring area who was running a free special.  Kristin Tate, of TD Photography, did such a great job!  If you are interested in her contact info, let me know!  We are so happy with the pictures and how they turned out.  Here are a few of the unedited images we got.

Looking at his momma - I was on stand-by in case he started to fall over.  He's getting really good at sitting up, but every now and then he's a little unsteady.

Impromptu family shot... we look a little rough.  Nick had just played golf and I pretty much had rolled out of bed and thrown my hair back.  Oh well. :)

Shortly after this shot, Kaelan pitched forward and bonked his head on the stearing wheel.  Poor kid - there were lots of tears.  I wasn't quick enough that time. :(

4th of July shots! My dad informed us that we had the flag backwards.  Oops.  The shots are still cute though!

Happy Father's Day!

Today was Nick's first Father's Day - I hope he had as much fun as I did!  Happy Father's Day to the best daddy Kaelan could ever ask for - and also to the best husband in the world.  We love you so very much!  Also, a very Happy Father's Day to my own dad, the best dad a girl could have. :)

Whole Lotta Cuteness!

I took a random video of Kaelan yesterday.  He was laying on the couch blowing bubbles and spitting - his newest favorite thing to do.  It's awful cute but Lord he soaks his outfits with his drool.  Come on teeth!! :)

Pardon the episode of Law & Order SVU in the background... and yes at the end of the video he almost falls off the couch.  My cat-like reflexes caught him just in time.  Phew!

This second video was taken about 2 weeks ago... Kaelan is a big fan of ripping up paper. :)



6 Month Checkup!

Kaelan had his 6 month checkup today... so far so good!  His stats:

Height: 29.5 inches (99.25%)
Weight: 19.10 oz (79.37%)
Head: 17.99 inches (90.67)

His doctor said everything looks good so that's always great to hear.  He did pretty well with his shots, not near as many tears as last time.  He napped while we made a Target run and by the time we got home, he was ready to eat and play!  He's currently on a 2 hour nap - we'll see how long he stays conked out. ;)
