Wow, It's Been Awhile!

Well, it's been awhile since I've blogged and we have had a lot going on!  Here's what's happened since I last posted...

1. Kaelan had his first road trip at the end of July - the two of us accompanied my parents to Louisiana to see my aunt, uncle, cousins, and friends visiting from France.  We had a great time and Kaelan charmed everyone.  He was such a good little guy in the car - hardly any freakouts at all.  Nick was at a church retreat with Camille so he had to miss out on this one... I'm sure there will be more to come!
2. I celebrated my first birthday as a mommy - it was a GREAT day!  We had dinner with my parents the day before then the day of Nick and I went and saw two movies while Kaelan was at the sitter's, followed by dinner that night with Nick's family to celebrate my bday and Nick's mom's bday.
3. Kaelan cut a second tooth on august 10th!  He now has 2 on the bottom... still waiting to see where the next ones are coming in... he's drooling buckets again but I haven't spotted any white caps just yet.
4. I went back to work on August 16th, having been cleared by my doctor.  It has been nice to get back into the swing of things... although I DO miss GMA and Regis & Kelly in the mornings!!  Think I could convince work to let get in around 10:30??  Yeah.. probably not.
5. Kaelan had his first trip to the beach and he loved loved LOVED it!  He refused to nap at all, he was having such a good time.
6. As of Friday night, Kaelan is officially crawling.  I finally got video of it! 
7. Kaelan is finally feeding himself puffs and bits of crackers... I never thought this day would come!
8. Nick and I were able to go watch Texas A&M BTHO SMU!  It was a GREAT game and the weather was awesome.

I *think* that's about it... hopefully I didn't miss anything! I have my ultrasound appointment tomorrow with the doctor so hopefully everything looks good... I'll actually have one more test in the near future where they'll insert dye into my cervix and send me to radiology so they can watch it go through my tubes - just to make sure I'm in tip-top shape when we decide to try for baby #2.  Don't get your hopes up... that will be yearsssssss in the making ;)  Here are a few random pictures!

Kaelan and Snoop... Snoop was my parent's dog and he passed away two weeks ago.  He was the best dog in the entire world and he is definitely missed.
